Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has commended Victor Osimhen for his selflessness and overall contributions to the team.
While Osimhen has yet to score since joining the Turkish Super Lig champions, he has made a notable impact with three assists in his first three matches.
Buruk highlighted the importance of Osimhen’s gameplay, emphasizing that scoring isn’t the only measure of a player’s value.

“Victor Osimhen’s game is very important. Not everything is about scoring goals. You can score, but if you lose the game, it doesn’t matter,” Buruk remarked, according to PlaySpor.
He noted that Osimhen often prioritizes team play, choosing to pass to teammates rather than focusing solely on his own scoring.
“If he only concentrated on scoring goals, the situation could be different. He works hard during matches, and he is a perfect fit for us, both as a player and as a person. Having him on our team is incredibly valuable.”
