The Commissioner representing Ijaw ethnic nationality in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission (DESOPADEC), Okpoye Okubo Spencer has lauded Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his appointment.

Your Excellency, let me begin by congratulating you on your overwhelming victory and successful swearing-in as the Executive Governor of Delta State.
It is without a doubt that from your nomination as the candidate of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), to the political battles fought during the pre-election stage and the election stage, it is apparent that God is involved in the affairs of men. Indeed, we are even more reassured that you will emerge victorious at the tribunal.

I sincerely appreciate the exceptional support that you provided regarding my appointment as Commissioner, representing the Seven Ijaw Kingdoms of Delta State on the Board of DESOPADEC, prior to your swearing-in as the governor of our dear state.
