Clement Ikolo, the King of Ewu Kingdom in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State, has surrendered to the Delta State Police Command.
Ikolo was one of the eight individuals declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters in connection with the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama community.
The Monarch arrived at the state police command headquarters precisely at 6:41 pm on Thursday to report himself to Police Commissioner Olufemi Abaniwonda.
Prior to surrendering to the police, Ikolo spoke to journalists, vehemently asserting his innocence in the matter.

The Delta State Police Command has confirmed that they now have him in custody.
Bright Edafe, the police spokesman in the state, verified this information to our correspondent.
Earlier on Thursday, the Defence Headquarters had issued a declaration, naming eight individuals, including Ikolo, as wanted for their alleged roles in the recent killing of 17 military personnel.
The other individuals on the wanted list are Prof Ekpekpo Arthur, Andaowei Dennis Bakriri, Akevwru Daniel Omotegbo (also known as Amagben), Akata Malawa David, Sinclear Oliki, Reuben Baru, and Igoli Ebi.
