England striker Ollie Watkins has praised Spain winger Lamine Yamal, calling him an “unbelievable talent” ahead of the Euro 2024 final clash between England and Spain on Sunday.
Yamal, who turns 17 on July 13, has been one of the standout performers in the tournament. The Barcelona star became the youngest scorer in Euro history with his goal in the 2-1 semi-final win over France.
Ollie Watkins, who plays for Aston Villa, said, “He’s an unbelievable talent; everyone has seen what he can do. A generational talent. It’s not often you score against France in the semi-final of the Euros at 16. He’s got the world at his feet. He’s miles ahead of where I was at 16 or 17.”
