Super Falcons star Oluwatosin Demehin has been honoured with a traditional title in Ondo State in recognition of her remarkable contribution to youth development and national football success.

The 23-year-old, who plays as a centre-back for Galatasaray, received the prestigious title of “Yeye Akeweje Ilaje” from His Royal Majesty, Oba Kayode Aiyetiwa, the Oba of Bariga.

The honour was bestowed during a cultural ceremony that celebrated her impact both on and off the pitch.

She featured in all six matches at the tournament, helping the team secure the continental title once again.
