One dead, 32 Abducted as Armed Bandits Invade Kaduna | Daily Report Nigeria

Atleast one person has been confirmed dead, and many others injured as armed bandits invade Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the bandits in their large numbers invaded the Madaka area of the community around 9 pm on Wednesday night, June 23 and started shooting sporadically in a bid to create panic among the residents.

District Head of Kachia ward, Idris Suleiman, who confirmed the incident when security operatives led by the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, visited the area.

He explained that the bandits first attacked a bakery where they kidnapped five persons and killed the driver to the owner of the bakery, before moving to another area called Mother Cat where they also kidnapped 28 persons including a pregnant woman.

According to him, the bandits stole from many shops while their owners were busy running for their lives.

It was gathered that one person is dead, about 12 people are severely injured, and are brrn taken care of in an undisclosed area. Investigations also shows that 32 other people have bern abducted by these armed bandits

The Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige said that a meeting has been held concerning the invasion, and investigations are been carried out.
