Police Arrest Suspected Armed Robbers Who specialize in Trailing Their Victims From the Bank in Adamawa

The police force in Adamawa has arrested three suspected armed robbers who specialize in trailing their victims from the bank to their house.

The suspects, identified as Sirajo Muhammed 40years, Benjamin John 48years, and Mustapha Abubakar 45years, were said to be specialists in trailing their victims from the bank and robbing them of their money.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement, said that on November 11, operatives of the command attached to the Crack squad, arrested three notorious robbers during a patrol along Bank road in Jimeta, Yola North local government.

He said that the suspects had on October 21 trailed one Hajiya Anuji Umar, after cashing the sum of Two million five hundred thousand naira from a commercial bank to a certain house along tsohon Kasuwa.

They eventually stole the money from her car a few minutes after she parked it in front of a certain house.

 

DSP Suleiman also added that the suspects had also robbed their target, Abubakar Umar Wambai, and Alhaji Yusuf Muhammad, from two different commercial banks, and stole from their cars N400,000 and 3.9 million respectively, using Master key and spray chemical.

The suspect will be arraigned in court on the completion of the investigation by the police.
