One Year in Office: Welemu Hails Agediga Over People Centered Service Delivery

The Chairman, Central Working of Pondified Ambassadors, Comrade Welemu Williams has poured encomiums on the Executive Directive for Planning, Research and Statistics in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Hon Shedrack Agediga following the marking of his one year in office.

Welemu who took to various platforms and channels to eulogize Agediga, celebrated the renowned humanity conscious Executive Director for his people oriented service delivery.

Welemu, a revered vocal commentator in varying societal issues called to mind that “He that is in the Service of Men is in the Service of God” in lauding Agediga.

He wrote;

“In your one year in service at DESOPADEC, you have continued to show us through your commitment that the People will always take front seat in all that you deliver.”

“You have become a household name and a shinning example of how a Leader must service their people with humility, tact and efficacy in delivery of their mandate.”
“We are very Proud of you.”

Recall that Agediga had promised a bottom-up approach will be applied by the current administration of the Commission in meeting the developmental needs of the people.

Meanwhile, the echelon of DESOPADEC will take the ship of commissioning of projects under the current dispensation to commission projects sited in Ijaw oil producing communities in Delta state.

Some of the projects spearheaded by Agediga and to be commissioned on Wednesday includes;

  • Canalization of Sokebolou creek. Ongoing
  • Reconstruction of Sokebolou Town Hall and radio house
  • Construction of Odimodi Health Centre and completion of market stores in Odimodi.
  • Construction of Agoloma Cottage Hospital
  • Construction of solar.
  • water scheme at Patani Construction of Police station/armoring at Okpokunu.
  • Installation of 1000KVA Generator at Oporoza
