Oscars Slap: Forgive and Heal– Jada Pinkett Tells Will Smith, Chris Rock

Jada Pinkett, actor Will Smith’s wife opined that her husband and Chris Rock forgive each other for the incident at the Oscars Awards night.

Pinkett wished that both entertainers heal from the incident that was transmitted to live audiences across the world.

She said:
“Now, about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out, and reconcile.”

During Oscar Awards night at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, March 2022, Smith walked on stage and slapped comedian Rock after he made a joke about Pinkett’s balding head.

While returning to his seat, Smith said:
“Keep my wife’s name out of your f***ing mouth.”

Pinkett continued with the reconciliatory call post on her Instagram page.

Again, she said;
“The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening.”
