A Facebook user identified as Jesuteke Prosper has opined that churches should check couples’ sanity before wedding them.
In Proper’s voice, people might have mental disorders unknowingly to their partners.
To avert domestic violence, he advised that churches should do a mental check on couples when they come for marriage counselling.
Prosper wrote;
“Churches should include psychiatric test in the marriage counseling process.
E BE LIKE SAY PEOPLE WEY NORMAL NOR TOO MANY 4 DIS COUNTRY.”
This comes after a popular Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu was allegedly beaten to death by her husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu.
The FCT Police Command announced the arrest of Mr. Nwachukwu, the husband of the singer on suspicion of homicide, noting that the case was reported to the Police by the late gospel singer’s brother.
Isinachi’s elder sister was also reported to have confirmed that the husband kicked the singer in the chest, causing her to be taken to the hospital.
