Oyo State Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, has dumped the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olaniyan made these announcements on Sunday.

This is coming a few days after the state governor, Makinde dropped the Deputy governor ahead of the 2023 elections.
Speaking on Sunday, the deputy governor, who is from the Oke-Ogun geopolitical zone, said, “Which official announcement do you want me to make?
“My friends and people asked me to leave PDP.
“I have joined APC.”
