Pa Clark: Burutu Leaders to Pay Condolence Visit to Kiagbodo

Leaders of the Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State will pay a condolence visit to the family of late elder statesman Pa Chief Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the elder statesman died on Monday, February 17, in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital territory.

In a public memo seen by our correspondent, the entourage will comprise all political leaders in the local government area across all party lines.

The condolence visit will be led by the Burutu Council Chairman, Chief Julius Takeme, among other government functionaries from Clark’s local government of origin.

Until his death, Clark was both Ijaw national leader and oversaw recently handed over affairs of the Pan Niger Delta Development Forum, PANDEF.

His death has since attracted widespread reactions from prominent individuals across the country.
