PAP: Otuaro Loved, Supported by Stakeholders - Egbesu Brotherhood

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Program, Dr. Dennis Otuaro has been described as a man loved and supported by stakeholders across the Niger Delta region.

This was posited by pro-Niger Delta group, the Egebsu Brotherhood, amidst several faceless oppositions to Otuaro’s appointment by President Bola Tinubu.

According to Comrade Ellington Bakumor, Deputy Coordinator of the group, “President Tinubu made the right decision by appointing Chief Dennis Otuaro PhD as the administrator of PAP for all reasons available.

“First, it is clear that the PAP office has eluded Delta state since its inception and considering the role of the state in the struggle for the emancipation of the Niger Delta, Dr. Otuaro is the first Deltan to be appointed.

“Secondly, Dr. Otuaro has been a faithful card carrying member of the All Progressives Congress and contributed immensely to the victory of his President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates within the Niger Delta and beyond. It is evident in how he has managed to carry everyone along and doing his best to ensure the Niger Delta region is safer to do business .

“Thirdly, for sometime now, there has been an outcry for the presidency to not just remember Delta State but also to appoint someone who is abreast with the struggle and with the issues confronting the region and the Niger delta at large. Otuaro is a pure breed of the struggle with complete devotion to seeing a better, safer, and more prosperous Niger Delta and Nigerian state.

“Hence, the persistent, demonic and backwards push to undo a man that has barely started his mandate is witchcraft of the highest order and should be discouraged.

“Dr. Otuaro has, in the short time of his assumption of office, shown dedication to the office and the mandate given to him. It would be better to support him, and we will all be glad we did. Anything short of this is selfishness aimed at causing disunity in the region.

“We therefore call on our working President, the NSA, to ignore naysayers because their agitation is born out of jealousy, selfishness, and a desire to plung the region into chaos. Otuaro has the love and support of all genuine stakeholders in the region.

“With Otuaro, we will succeed as a region together. Let’s all rally behind a good man.”
