Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has advised Arsenal to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney before the summer transfer window closes.

Scholes believes Toney could score at least 25 goals for the Gunners if he joins Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The England international has been linked with a move away from Brentford this summer.

On “The Overlap,” Scholes noted, “It’s hard to say Arsenal lack firepower given the goals they scored last season, but I think adding a true center forward would make a difference. Signing an out-and-out number nine who can guarantee 25 goals would certainly help.”

Paul Scholes continued, “Ivan Toney has been mentioned a lot, and I think he’s capable of scoring 25 goals in that Arsenal team. In fact, I think he could score 25 goals in many teams.”
