The campaign office of the Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu was torched down by angry mobs on Thursday.

The angry mob had damaged public buildings and properties of persons percieved to perpetrators of their anguish.

The actions of the mob was influenced by the attacks on peaceful protesters by security operatives in different parts of the country.

Akeredolu’s campaign office in Akure, the Ondo state capital formed part of properties destroyed by the angry youths on Thursday.

The mob had earlier attacked two police stations alongside the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Akure, freeing prisoners in the process.
