The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, on Wednesday marked the International Youth Day in Burutu, headquarters of the council.

The event started with a Permanent Voters Card (PVC) awareness rally across the community by the youths ahead the 2023 general elections.

The event tagged ‘Inter-generational Solidarity: Creating a World For All Ages’ saw a lecture from Dr. Peter Ganagana centered on the year’s theme.

Flagged off by Comrade Owan, the NYCN Chairman Burutu, the occasion was chaired by the Chairman of the Council, Hon. Godknows Angele.

Major guests at the ceremony include the NYCN State Chairman, Comrade Kenneth Okorie, Executive Director for Planning, Research and Statistics DESOPADEC, Comrade Shedrack Agediga, amongst others.
