26 Nigerians have been reportedly arrested in Ghana for their alleged involvement in internet fraud.

According to a report by Okay FM’s Jacob Kubi, the Deputy Police Commander, Amaning Oduro, said they, following an intelligence they received, raided three houses, and Nigerians summing up to be 26 were arrested.

He also said some of the items recovered from them are 31 laptops, 26 mobile phones, five machetes, and substances suspected to be Indian hemp.

The suspects are expected to be screened, and those found culpable would be processed to court.

The Central East Police Commander, DCOP Okyere Boapeah, who also confirmed the arrested said Ghanaian landlords should report any would-be Nigerian tenants to Immigration officials before renting out to them.
