The police have apprehended, a senior immigration officer, Abdullahi Usman over his alleged role in the invasion of the residence of a supreme court judge, Mary Odili.

Security operatives, had On October 29 invaded the Judge’s residence in Abuja to enforce a search warrant issued by a magistrate court in Abuja over allegations of illegal activities happening at the house.

However, investigation revealed that the warrant presented by the operatives bore a wrong address.

Consequently, 14 persons in connection with the invasion were arrested.

Confirming the arrest of Usman to TheCable, police spokesman, Frank Mba said all the suspects will be arraigned in court in Abuja this week.

“Yes. We’ve arrested him. He is an assistant superintendent of immigrations, and he serves in Nasarawa command,” he said.
