  • Men of the Katsina state police command have arrested a group of suspected terrorists and bandits information.

  • Daily Report Nigeria gathers that a village head, was among the suspects, alongside his three other accomplices.

Operatives of the Kaduna State Police command have tuned up the heat on banditry as they arrest suspected bandits information.

According to reports, a village head, identified as Usamatu Adamu, 45 of Runka village in Safana Local Government Area of the state was arrested, alongside his two accomplices: one Rabe Sada, alias BBC, aged 62, and one Nasiru Sha’aibu, aged 48, all of Runka village on Tuesday, October 8.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the command, Abubakar Sadiq added that the suspects, who are now residing at Sabon Gida village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State confessed to the crime upon interrogations.

They were tracked and arrested following credible intelligence on October 3rd, 2024.

Sadiq also added that the suspects are responsible in the criminal conspiracy and kidnapping of four persons namely: Abdulkarim, Malam Sakoa, Malam Sirajo, and Ali, all of Runka village in Safana LGA, Katsina State.

 

According to the PPRO, the suspect (Ward Head) was arrested after a painstaking investigation linking him to several kidnapping incidents in Runka village, Safana LGA of the state.
