Police Arrests Six Fake Soldiers in Delta | Daily Report Nigeria

Six individuals who paraded themselves as men of the Nigerian army have been arrested by the Delta State security outfit, Operation Delta Hawk.

The fake soldiers were apprehended following a tip off along Midwifery School road, Okpanam axis of the Asaba, the State Capital.

The identities of the suspect are; Nwokoye Chidera Emmanuel 20; Nwokoye Francis 24; Chigozie Arinze 23; Kingsley Ndukuba 32; Chidera Anichukwu 21 and Chinedu Akwali, 29.

Items recovered from Chidera, one of the suspects, as listed by the Army Public Relations Director, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima include a black Mercedes Benz GL350 jeep, a Toyota Corolla with registration number ABJ 49 AA ABUJA, a Fabric Nationale bayonet and pairs of military kits.

Chidera had paraded himself to be a Cadet from Southern Maritime Academy Ughelli, and confessed he got the military kits from one Mr Hassan also known as Commander.

The suspects were handed over to the 63 Brigade Military Police Group in Asaba for further investigation and prosecution.
