The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) says it will investigate the recent death of Nigerian music artiste, Mohbad.
It therefore tasked the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa to lead the investigation processes.
According to the NPF, it was fully committed to conducting a thorough investigation into this matter.
Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, disclosed that updates on the investigation will be provided as soon as progress was made.

In the meantime, Adejobi requested that individuals refrain from making statements or engaging in activities that could potentially hinder the ongoing investigation.
The statement read:
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, friends, and fans of the late Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad, who recently passed away. We understand the concerns regarding his untimely demise.
“We encourage family members or close associates with valuable information to approach the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to assist in this process.
“Your trust and support in this matter are greatly appreciated.”
