The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has extended his olive branch to the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan after contesting with him during the just concluded party’s presidential primary.

Tinubu, speaking during his victory speech after being declared winner of the race, told Ahmad he could now lick his wounds.

The former Lagos State governor who admitted he was a little bit agitated that the Senate president contested the position with him, hailed the senator for being cool-headed and doing his best service to the nation at the Senate.

According to Tinubu: “I’m a little agitated that you contested agitated me, but thank you, you can now lick your wounds.”
