PSG interested in Real-Madrid Star, Ferland Mendy

Paris Saint-Germain have indicated interest to join the race to sign Real Madrid defender, Ferland Mendy.

The 27-year-old had an unfortunate career start at Real Madrid with injuries taking more of his time, but has since recovered.

He become a regular under Carlo Ancelotti following his return from injury.

Mendy has been linked with a move to other European clubs with transfer specialist, Fichajes, claiming that both Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus are interested in the French right-back.

However, Manchester United have announced the signing of Tyrell Malacia, so a move to sign Mendy seems less likely.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could look to snap up the Real Madrid star to provide competition for current right-back, Ben Chilwell.

However, PSG has entered the race to sign Mendy, according to Defensa Central.

The report claims that Real Madrid would be open to selling the defender this summer, with Antonio Rudiger slotting in at center-back, moving David Alaba to left-back.

The Ligue 1 champions intend to snap up Ferland Mendy as they look to rebuild their team after the sack of former boss, Mauricio Pochettino.

The Spanish giants are open to cashing in on him in the summer transfer window if the right price can be discussed.

He is valued at around £50 million.
