The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, on September 18 raided a major warehouse in an isolated estate in Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Operatives of the anti-drug enforcement agency, during their operation, seized over N194 billion worth of crack.

The NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said the seizures appeared to be “the biggest singular cocaine seizure in the history of Nigeria’s premier anti-narcotic agency.”

According to him, a Jamaican and other three drug barons, including the warehouse manager was arrested.

Consequently, tthe Chairman of the NDLEA, Brig Gen Mohamed Marwa led the destruction and setting ablaze of 1.8 tons of cocaine recovered by the anti-narcotic agency on Tuesday.

According to the spokesman 1,828 blocks of cocaine out of the 1.8-ton seized, will be crushed and set ablaze while the remnant would be secured for prosecution purposes.

The suspects were also brought to witness the procedure after signing the certificate of destruction.

Meanwhile, Rapper and activist, Folarin Falana aka Falz the bahd guy, condemned the act by the NDLEA.

Reacting to the development, the rapper said;

This administration must really think that we are daft sha!!
What is this lamba that the NDLEA is giving with this cocaine seizure saga? Dem dey burn evidence?”
