Tantita Deserves Pipeline Surveillance Contract Renewal, Akemotubo Replies Fubara

Pastor Arex Akemotubo, MD/CEO of Waffi TV, a fast growing Tv station based in the oil city of Warri that can be Watched on any Free-To-Air decoder, has disagreed with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara over comments on awarding multi-billion naira pipeline surveillance contract to ‘one man’.

Akemotubo in statement on Monday said it was wrong for the Rivers Governor to kick against the award of the contract to only Tompolo’s Tantita Security Services company given the company’s pedigree of excellence and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

He insisted that Tantita’s contract ought to be renewed because of their track record of dependability, effectiveness, and professionalism.

He asked President Bola Tinubu to swiftly accept the contract renewal, in the best interest of the country, noting that those opposed to its renewal are responsible for oil theft.

He said:

“In carrying out its crucial task, Tantita Security Services has continuously displayed great dependability, efficiency, and professionalism, all of which have unquestionably helped our country’s economy grow significantly.

“It is my firm believe that Tantita Security Services has earned the right to have their contract renewed without needless bureaucratic delay. As a patriotic citizen and concerned youth of our wonderful nation. This campaign is supported by Tantita Security Services’ impressive track record and contributions to the safety and defence of our vital oil infrastructure.

“Tantita Security Services has constantly proven to be a trustworthy partner in protecting our oil pipelines. The amount of pipeline damage and oil theft has significantly decreased as a result of their unrelenting dedication to this crucial work.

“The effective activities of Tantita Security Services have not only preserved our priceless oil assets but also made sure that oil production continues without interruption. The increased daily oil production of our country has been directly attributed to this efficiency.

“To ensure that oil production, the nation’s main source of income, continues unhindered, Tompolo is collaborating with key stakeholders from a number of different ethnic nationalities so the issue of awarding contract to one man is inconsequential.

“Because they have proven to be reliable partners in the fight against oil theft, i am therefore convinced that those fighting awarding the contract to Tantita are those behind oil theft.

“I therefore urge President Bola Tinubu to as a matter of urgency approve the renew the contract to Tantita in the interest of the peace and economic development of the nation.”
