Renowned Nollywood producer and director Shina Sanyaolu has passed away.
Sanyaolu was a significant figure in the Yoruba film industry. Bolaji Amusan, a prominent member of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), announced his death in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Accompanying a photo of Sanyaolu, Amusan wrote, “Sleep well, Uncle Sanyaolu.”
The cause of his death has not been disclosed, and colleagues in the industry are paying their tributes on social media.
