Men of Rivers State Police Command have reportedly nabbed a suspected female ritualist.
The police apprehended her following a report by an eyewitness after she was caught with a dead baby in the state’s capital, Port Harcourt.
Reports held that the yet-to-be-identified female ritualist was arrested with a dead baby on Monday, February 6, 2023.

The lady was allegedly reciting some incantations while pulling the lifeless baby on the floor.
According to the eyewitness, the lady had stolen and killed the baby before coming to Elelewon street in the city.
The eyewitness said:
“She was passing our street in Elelewon and before we knew it, she started dragging the baby on the floor and was reciting some incantations.
“So we gathered and apprehended her. It’s believed that she stole the baby from a different location, killed it, and brought it to our area to perform the ritual. She was later handed over to the police.”
