A senior police officer identified as ASP Edward Bua, has been arrested for allegedly burning his 66-year-old mother, Nyakuni Margaret Onzia, to death in Uganda.The deceased, a Deputy Director Uganda Nurses and Midwife Council, died in a fire incident at her resident in Bugonga, Entebbe Municipality in Wakiso District on Saturday, January 29.Luke Owoyesigyire, Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesman confirming the incident said 38-year-old ASP Bua, who is also a lawyer by profession, was found with a matchbox.”We have detained the officer at Entebbe Police Station on charges of murder,” Mr Owoyesigyire said.Onzia’s body has been conveyed to the city mortuary at Mulago for a post mortem.According to Mr Owoyesigyire, the case is still under investigation.Late Mrs. Margaret Nyakuni was serving as the Deputy Executive Secretary of UNMEB at the time of her death.Warri Prophet Confesses to Killing Over 7 Persons, Slept in Cemeteries in Quest For Power
