Shedrack Agediga Bags Peace Ambassador Award

Foremost peace advocate, Comrade Shedrack Agediga has bagged another Peace Ambassador Award.

The Chairman of the Shedrack Agediga Foundation was bestowed with the Peace Ambassador Award by the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Delta Broadcasting Services Warri Chapel on Thursday.

Presenting the award, the Chairman NUJ DBS Chapel, John Glover said the award was to commemorate Agediga’s persistent and consistent contributions in the advocacy for peace over the years.

Accepting the award, Agediga, who was represented by the Director of Programs of the Foundation, Pastor Seimode Lakemfa, described the accolade as a call for more service.

The award presentation was the climax of activities that marked the 2023 World Peace Day on Thursday.

The NUJ DBS Chapel in collaboration with the Shedrack Agediga Foundation had embarked on a Peace Walk in Warri and environs in commemoration of the International Peace Day.

They were joined by the Delta State chapters of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists and the Nigerian Association of the Blind.
