Nigerian songstress Niyola is reaching out to her fans, asking for their prayers as she recovers from a recent harrowing ordeal that brought her face to face with death.
Though she didn’t delve into the specifics of what happened, Niyola shared that she found herself in a life-threatening situation, fighting for survival on the floor. It was only through the intervention of what she described as a supernatural voice that she regained consciousness.
Taking to her Instagram page, Niyola posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed, a visual testament to the gravity of her experience. In her caption, she hinted at the gravity of the situation and the importance of her followers’ support during her recovery.

I just [had] a near death experience and naturally it had me thinking about time, purpose and what truly matters.
“One minute I was fine and the next minute I was on the floor fighting for my life. All I remember after that was hearing a voice saying ‘And you shall by no means get hurt.’
