We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home.”

It was gathered that operatives of the APC have in the last week deployed all manners of tactics to ensure success at the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections.

Reports held the above followed after they lost to Labour Party during the February 25 presidential polls in the state.

In the presidential election, Labour’s Peter Obi polled 582,454 votes to defeat former Lagos governor and APC flag bearer Bola Tinubu, who polled 572,606 votes.

Tinubu was subsequently declared winner of the election after total results from 36 states were collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

MC Oluomo leader of the Lagos motor parks management committee, was notorious for commanding the militant wing of the ruling APC in Lagos.

Sources claimed his threat could scare potential voters away from exercising their franchise.

However, it was believed that he was charging APC supporters this time around.
