Super Eagles Intensify World Cup Preparations with Closed-Door Training

Super Eagles

As the Super Eagles gear up for their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic, they’ll be putting in some intense training on Tuesday. This comes after a strong start to their preparations, which began with double sessions on Sunday and Monday.

The team’s Tuesday workout will be a single, focused session, scheduled to commence at 4 pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium’s practice pitch. This will be a closed-door session, allowing the players to fine-tune their strategy without distractions from the media and public.

Currently, 15 players are settled into the team’s camp at Ibom Hotel and Resort, with eight more expected to join their teammates soon. The stage is set for a fierce battle on the pitch, and the Super Eagles are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for victory.
