UPDATED: Super Eagles’ Squad For AFCON 2022 in Cameroon | Daily Report Nigeria

Following a series of changes effected on the Super Eagles final 28-man list, the list has now taken a different reflection.

The alterations were seen to be the consequence of the covid-19 and injury crisis among other reasonable reasons.

Some players including Victor Osimhen, Emmanuel Dennis were excluded from the list why some made it into the list.

The 33rd African Cup of Nations will commence next weekend in Cameroon, hopefully our country excels at the tournament.

Below is the Super Eagles squad for the impending African Cup Of Nations in Cameroon;

Goalkeepers: Maduka Okoye (Sparta Rotterdam, Netherlands); Francis Uzoho (AC Omonia, Cyprus); Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa) and John Noble (Enyimba FC).

Defenders: William Ekong (Watford FC, England); Oluwasemilogo Ajayi (West Brom, England); Kenneth Omeruo (CD Leganes, Spain); Olaoluwa Aina (Torino FC, Italy); Tyrone Ebuehi (Venezia FC, Italy); Jamilu Collins (SC Padeborn 07, Germany); Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal); Chidozie Awaziem (Alanyaspor FC, Turkey) and Olisa Ndah (Orlando Pirates, South Africa).
