Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini is on the verge of joining Italian club Juventus. 

Having been a part of the Super Falcons squad at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, Echegini has travelled to Italy to finalize negotiations with the Bianconeri.

Previously with the American club Florida State Seminoles, Echegini is a versatile midfielder. 

Her transfer marks a historic moment, as she will become the first Nigerian to play for Juventus Ladies.

During her time in Australia and New Zealand, the 22-year-old made three appearances for the Super Falcons. 

Her move to Juventus reflects her growing prominence.
