EPL: Carragher Reveals Who’ ll Leave Chelsea Between Tuchel, Lukaku

Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has let on about who will leave Chelsea between the club’s coach, Thomas Tuchel and the club striker, Romelu Lukaku.

The 43-year-old held that the German gaffer would emerge the victor in a battle with the Belgium striker.

The English football pundit also said that it would be effortless for the Blues to replace the former Inter star as against replacing Tuchel should the variance heats up to the level that the team will have no choice than to choose between either of them.

Recall, the clash ensued between the duo following Lukaku’s expression of displeasure with his situation under Tuchel.

He also mentioned that he wanted to make U-turn to where he was signed during an interview after Brighton held Chelsea down to 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Consequently, the ex-Psg manager punished the former Manchester United star by dropping him out of Chelsea squad that battled Liverpool to 2-2 draw on Sunday’s League match.

Meanwhile, reports in England suggested that Lukaku could push for a January transfer.

Carragher told Sky Sports: “In the past, the players have always won against the manager. Right now, I think in terms of top managers in world football, I’ d say there’ s a dearth of them. ”

“We’ ve got three in the Premier League – Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Tuchel.”

“But look at the problems Man Utd are having right now in terms of their managerial situation. They still don’ t know who they’ re going to get at the end of the season or who is out there who can compete with these three.”

He added: “Right now, for Chelsea, even though they’ ve had great success changing managers over the last 10-15 years.”

“I actually think it may be easier to replace Lukaku than the manager they’ ve got. They’ ve got a top-class manager right now.”
