Supreme Court Judge, Justice Mary Odili has not been seen nor her whereabouts known since security operatives invaded her Abuja residence on Friday evening.

The wife of the former governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili’s where about has since left family members and close relatives in anxiety and confusion.

The family residence of the Supreme Court Judge at lmo Rivers Street in Maitama was reportedly taken over by heavily armed mufty-wearing security men at about 5pm on Friday for undisclosed reasons.

Daily Post reports that the security operatives attached to the Judge resisted the invading security personnel to take over the house without a court order.

The fate of the Justice is yet to be ascertained as all roads leading to her resident street have since been blocked as of press time.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, has denied being behind the invasion of Justice Odili’s Home.

A statement ny the EFCC read;
“The Commission by this statement wishes to inform the public that the report is false as it did not carry out any operation at the home of Justice Odili.

“If there was any such operation as claimed by the media, it was not carried out by the EFCC.

“The Commission enjoins the public to discountenance the report,” a statement was issued by Mr Wilson Uwujare, Head, Media & Publicity read.

Also, the Department of the State Service was yet to make a claim on the invasion.

The Supreme Court was yet to comm nt on the invasion as at the time of filing this report.
