A young motorist suspected to be a Yahoo Boy (internet fraudster) has been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for crushing a 15-month-old child to death along the popular DLA Road, Asaba, Delta State.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the incident happened on Monday, February, 21.
According to eyewitnesses, the child’s mother who operates a POS shop along the DLA Road did not know when her child crawled to the road.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the accident on Tuesday said, “Yes, it was an accident, a child of one year and a few months died. The driver wanted to enter a compound after opening the gate to the compound, not knowing that the child crawled under the vehicle and he ran the child over.
“The mother of deceased’s shop is close to the gate. The suspect is currently in detention and investigation is ongoing.”
