Rev Fr. Hyacinth Alia, a suspended catholic priest has been declared winner of the governorship primary election of the All Progressive Congress in Benue State.

Alia was suspended by the Bishop of Gboko Diocese, William Avenya, following his purchasing of the N50 nomination form, and being cleared to contest the primary election.
