Men of the Lagos state Task Force have apprehend a bunch a handful of beggars, as well as their children.
According to reports, the arrested suspects were said to have been constituting nuisance in state, through the unlawful act of begging on the street.

Confirming the arrest, the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, who shared this information via his X page noted that the officials arrested the people during a raid, as they clap back against public nuisance among others.
He added that 27 people, including 15 minors were arrested in major routes including Awolowo Way up to Falomo roundabout, Ikoyi and Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, along Lekki road.

They were said to have been begging in the middle of the road during traffic when they were apprehended.
