An Indonesian teenager has reportedly died from a risky challenge dubbed; “challenge malaikat maut,” in English, (Angel of Death challenge).

The 18-year-old boy died in
Tangerang-Banten, after he and his two friends rushed in front of a moving truck in an attempt to stop it.

Reports stated that he collided with the truck, rolled under it, and was crushed.

He was pronounced dead at the spot while others sustained injuries.

The new challenge on social media which involves jumping in front of moving lorries has gained popularity across Southeast Asia, according to reports.
