Despite Nigeria initially leading with one goal, only to be equalized and ultimately surpassed by an additional goal, the Super Eagles lost their chance to secure the AFCON cup.
Witnessing the match unfold, Teni couldn’t hold back her tears, deeply affected by Nigeria’s defeat. The ‘Malaika’ crooner expressed her dismay at the Ivory Coast team’s triumph over the Super Eagles, feeling personally embarrassed by the outcome.
With tears streaming down her face, she cried out in anguish, unable to bear the pain any longer.
