Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, widely known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has reassured his fans that he plans to make a strong return in 2025.
This follows a difficult period for the creative, as reports from August 26, 2024, revealed that he underwent a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, which unfortunately was not successful, despite his only brother donating a kidney for him.
In a series of tweets shared on Monday, TG Omori gave an update on his health journey, stressing the significance of having the right mental attitude when facing health challenges. Along with a photo of himself, he wrote about the power of resilience, saying, “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.”
He went on to express his determination to overcome his current struggles, adding, “Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”
TG Omori’s words serve as a message of hope and strength to his supporters as he continues his recovery.
