The Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT Centre on Friday played host to participants of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination at Ogulagha, Delta State.
The exam, which is the third successive test the centre has hosted, had participants from various coastal communities in the state.
The students numbering over 200 were joined by member representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Julius Pondi, who spurred them on to be better individuals for society.

The lawmaker encouraged the participants, who are beneficiaries of his annual Free JAMB Forms initiative, to pursue their dreams with all vigour.

Speaking to Daily Report Nigeria, Pondi expressed pride in the level of impact the Sologha Ekpemupolo Centre is making on education for coastal communities in the state.
The Chairman House Committee on Environment pledged to provide necessary support to further improve the status of the centre ahead of next year’s exercise.
On their part, the benefiaries of the educational outreach expressed delight that the Sologha Ekpemupolo CBT Centre has greatly lifted the burden of students travelling long distances to partake of the exercise.
A total of 228 students sat for the nationwide examination at the centre for the 2024 JAMB exercise.
Meanwhile, 20 best performing students from participants at the centre who secure admissions will benefit from the annual scholarship scheme of the Julius Pondi Foundation.
