Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has brought to light that the ongoing African Cup Of Nations (AFCON) is going to be his last.
The current player of Fatih Karagümrük added he’ll feature in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar should his team qualifies.
However, the 29-year-old held that he would have his boots hung prior to the next AFCON.

The ex-Leicester City star made the revelation amidst a press conference ahead of Nigeria’s opening tie with Egypt tomorrow, 11th.
Musa, therefore urged his teammates to put in their best to ensure they brought home the title as a parting gift for him.
Musa said: “I think this is my last AFCON InShaa Allah.”

“I have spoken to the boys that this is the only gift you can give to me because this is my last AFCON. And the boys told me that they are ready.”
“My first AFCON was in South Africa in 2013 and we ended up winning it. And my second appearance was in Egypt and we won the bronze.”
The national team’s most-capped player has netted 16 goals including four at different World Cups during in his 12 years of playing for the Eagles.
