The attack on Thursday targeted a section of Ijaw youths who arrived at the premises with placards to demand transparency and justice in the hearing process from the court.

Eyewitnesses told Daily Report Nigeria that the thugs attacked the observers upon their arrival at the court premise to demand from proper investigation and hearing process. A victim (pictured) only survived the scene with a broken skull and severe bruises.

The thugs also attacked a Dailyreport.ng correspondent and dislodged him of his equipment, including two smartphones, a digital camera, and a tripod, after beating him up.
