President Bola Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
Tinubu’s voyage was revealed in a statement dated August 13, 2024 by the Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity).

According to the statement, his visit is in response to an invitation extended by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Upon arrival, Tinubu will meet with his Equatorial Guinean counterpart at the Presidential Villa, where the two leaders will hold meetings and sign agreements on key areas such as oil and gas, security, and bilateral relations.
Tinubu will be accompanied by a delegation comprising the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and other cabinet members who will play a crucial role in the signing of agreements and exploring opportunities to enhance bilateral ties between the two nations.
