Tobi Amusan Breezes Into World Athletics Championship 100m final

Nigerian sprint sensation, Tobi Amusan has qualified for the 100-meter Hurdle finals at the ongoing World Athletics Championship in Budapest.

The world Champion won a second semifinal race with a time of 12.56s to qualify.

Despite starting slowly, the world hurdles record holder recovered in time to clock 12.56s.

She finished ahead of Jamaican Achkara Nungent’s 12.60s and Dutch Nadine Visser’s 12.62s.

Amusan remains Nigeria’s major hope of a medal at the Budapest World Athletics Championship.
