The Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), Western Zone, has commended Julius Pondi, the lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, for the successful commissioning of the Torugbene mini soccer pitch.
The newly inaugurated facility is expected to provide significant recreational and developmental benefits to the local youth and the wider community.
In a statement co-signed by Comrade Nicholas Igarama- Chairman, Ebi Joshua Olowolayemo – Secretary, and Comrade Tare Magbei, Information Officer, the IYC expressed its appreciation for Pondi’s commitment to fostering grassroots development through sports infrastructure.
