TRAGEDY: Man Slumps, Dies, While Breaking Fast In FCT

  • Yet another causality has occured, following the Ramadan fasting.

  • The deceased was said to have died while breaking his fast.

  • He was said to be eating fruit with his friends when he slumped.

A man has been confirmed dead, following the ongoing Ramadan fasting.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the deceased man, identified as Abdulrasheed Usman was breaking his fast with his friends when the tragedy struck.

Confirming the incident, a witness identified as Suleiman Bala said the tragic incident happened in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday, March 1.

He added that the deceased was eating fruit with three of his friends when he fell down suddenly.

He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the medical team on duty.

One of his brothers said the deceased returned from Kaduna and went to join his friends where they normally relaxed. And when the Magrib prayer was called, he joined them to breakfast and it was in the process that the incident happened,’’ the witness said.

Currently, investigations are still ongoing to ascertain the cause of his tragic death.

The police force in Nasarawa state have arrested a suspected armed robber in the state.

The suspect was arrested fully claded in military camouflage.
