The Department of State Services has implied that renown bandits negotiator, Alhaji Tukur Mamu will be taken to court.
This was disclosed by the DSS Spokesperson, Dr. Peter Afunanya, after incriminating items were recovered from Mamu’s office and residence in Kaduna.
The items were discovered after operatives of the DSS raided the office and home of the Desert Herald Publisher, on Thursday.

According to Dr. Afunanya, “Appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office.”
He revealed that “Incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered” during the raid.
Also, “large amounts in different currencies and denominations as well as financial transaction instruments.
“While further investigations continue, Mamu will, sure, have a day in court,” he added.
Meanwhile, no date was given by the DSS with regards to when Tukur Mamu would appear in court.
